It’s particularly interesting in the light of two Bible prophecies:
* “The sun will be turned to darkness and the moon to blood before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD.” (Joel 2:31)
* “There will be signs in the sun, moon and stars.” (Luke 21:25)
Is this just the start of more signs to come? Truly this is what the Lord was talking about in Joel 2. This is how the moon will appear to be blood when God pours out his judgement on the Earth.
